- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients in their homes.
- Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation and light housekeeping.
- Engage clients in social activities and conversation to enhance their quality of life.
- Administer medication reminders as needed and monitor client well-being.
- Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to supervisors.
- Support clients with mobility and transportation to appointments and outings.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
- Collaborate with family members and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in healthcare is a plus.
- Previous experience in homecare or a related field preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to connect with clients.
- Compassionate demeanor and a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to pass background checks and maintain client confidentiality.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Basic understanding of personal care and safety protocols.
- Flexible schedule to meet client needs, including evenings and weekends as scheduled
- Must have a negative TB test within the last year
